One of the most valuable and integral components of professional development for students in the MSHP program are the formal and informal opportunities to network with alumni. Preservation Alumni is proud to help facilitate these connections through Spring and Fall parties, an annual speed networking event, and the Preservation Alumni Mentorship Program, now moving into its third year.

The Preservation Alumni Mentorship Program is offered to first-year MSHP students starting in the second semester of their studies. The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for students to clarify their professional interests and goals and connect with alumni in the field. We hope that the Mentorship Program will also provide an opportunity for alumni to stay up-to-date with the current program, as well as with each other. We work diligently to thoughtfully pair mentors and students in December and kick-off the program at a reception in January.

If you would like to join us as a mentor this year,
please complete this survey by November 20, 2019.

Please read through the HP Mentor and Mentee Guidelines as well as the Mentorship Agreement if you are interested in volunteering. If you have any questions about mentorship in general, the current MSHP class, or any other issues, please contact our Preservation Alumni Mentorship Coordinators at mentorship@preservationalumni.org

We sincerely appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to hearing from you. Preservation Alumni and the HP Program are delighted to continue the program, and we have no doubt the students will be looking forward to working closely with our program’s exceptional alumni through the mentorship program.
