Join Preservation Alumni for its Annual Pub Crawl on March 24th!
This year we will be drinking our way through Astoria and discovering its diverse commercial and residential history along the way.
Our first stop will be at The Astor Room at Kaufman Astoria Studios at 6:30. Located in the 1921 studio commissary, glamorous movie stars like Rudolph Valentino, Gloria Swanson, and Charlie Chaplin used to dine here!
At 7:45 we will move on to more happy hour specials at Halsey's Tavern, named for the "Father of Astoria," Stephen Halsey.
We will conclude the night by heading to Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden at 9:00 to enjoy Czech food and beer at the city's most iconic beer hall!
We hope you can join us!
Please RSVP so that we can give the bars a final head’s up as to how many people to expect.
